Tell Them About Your Health

This Is The Start Of Bringing Your Carer Impact Letter Together

It is not selfish to ask for help for you.

IT'S ESSENTIAL

It's written into the carers act and NDIS act (law), that they have to provide

reasonable assistance to maintain the ‘informal supports’

.

So, please get in touch, don’t struggle! I’m looking out for you and wanting

to get you what you deserve as a carer.

Please know that when you are going for yearly/ second

yearly reassessment change of circumstance, or unscheduled review,

YOU NEED TO PUT IN A GOAL OF SUPPORT FOR THE INFORMAL SUPPORTS.

This highlights to the NDIS that you need extra help and they are then

answerable (by law) to provide funding for you.

A lot of misinformed LAC’s and even NDIS staff say you cannot have this as

a goal.

This is incorrect.

Please INSIST that this is put in as a goal if you are

needing help.

This is in your child’s best interests.

Also by having it as a

separate goal you can then reassess to see if the funding is enough to

sustain & maintain the informal supports.

Don’t forget, I can give you EVEN MORE evidence for your next plan review or change of circumstance by providing professional EVIDENCE that the NDIS require ON TOP of your other therapists reports.

I can help through your

child’s plan RIGHT NOW if they have funds in Capacity Building

Improved Daily Living or Core.

Please get in touch - do it right now!
